In January-July Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport OJSC) handled 2,180,100 tons of cargo (up by 38.6% YoY), the stevedoring company reported.
Transshipment of fish products totaled 199,000 tons (+6.8%), dry bulk cargo – 670,400 tons (+90.1%); containers – 89,908 TEUs (+6.6%); metal scrap – 237,800 tons (+4.3 %).
Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port is a multi-purpose reloading complex on the southern coast of the nonfreezing Zolotoi Rog Bay. The quay line of 10 berths is 2,020 m long, 9 km of railway lines and 3 locomotives enable the company to handle 71 wagons per day. Transshipment of fish products, that is a key activity of Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port, surged over 2-fold in 2015 – to 307,500 tons. (Portnews/Business World Magazine)
