Russian farmers have threshed 96.879 million tons of grain from 34.9 million hectares as of September 6, compared with 29 million hectares last year as of the corresponding date, the Agriculture Ministry said.
Wheat harvest amounted to 66.8 million tons and barley harvest stood at 17.6 million tons. The ministry expects Russia’s grain harvest to stand at 110 million tons in 2016. (Prime/Business World Magazine)
