Logistics problems slow down the growth of Russian soybeans exports to China, namely the absence of transport routes of the oilseed to the country, the President of the Russian Grain Union Arkadiy Zlochevskiy said.
Russia supplies soybeans to China, but the export volumes are quite low. The eastern region of Russia has large-scale stocks of soybeans, but there are problems with logistics – how to deliver such oilseed volumes. Therefore, traders have to make a detour to deliver the oilseed, said Zlochevskiy.
At the same time, the President of Russian Grain Union noted that the Chinese destination of Russian soybean exports was quite prospective, and required further development. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
