Tajikistan has reportedly increased manufacturing of oil products over the first seven months of this year.
According to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan, about 70,000 tons of oil products have been manufactured in Tajikistan in January-July, up by 30.3% YoY.
The agency attributes the increase in the volume of oil products manufactured in Tajikistan to the increase in production of gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil and bitumen in the country.
In January-July Tajikistan has produced over 2,200 tons of diesel fuel (up by 1.6% YoY), 396 tons of gasoline (up by 14%), about 3,700 tons of fuel oil (up by 30%), and 62,000 tons of bitumen (up by 44%).
Meanwhile, Tajikistan has reportedly produced a total of about 7.5 billion somoni worth of industrial goods over the same seven-month period, up by 13.5% YoY. (Asia-Plus/Business World Magazine)
