GM Uzbekistan, an Uzbek-US automobile maker, shipped the first batch of Ravon R2 automobiles to Kazakhstan, the press service of the company said.
The second batch of Ravon R2 cars was also sent to Russia. Soon, the company plans to ship the first batch of NexiaR3 cars to Russia.
Nexia R3 became the first model of global car line of General Motors, which underwent certification of ERA-GLONASS module.
The company said that it was working on expanding dealers’ network of Ravon in key markets of the CIS. In August, a new brand will be presented in Ukraine.
GM Uzbekistan continues to work on update models line. Soon, GM Uzbekistan plans to launch Ravon R4 in all markets. Currently, the company offers R2, Nexia R3 and Gentra cars under Ravon brand.
Ravon R2 has a new design of exterior and interior and is equipped with economic engine 1.25-l B-DOHC and automatic transmission of new generation. The model has improved noise insulation, updated dashboard, audio system with MP3, USB, AUX, Bluetooth support.
The car has safety airbags, system of electronic steering management, ABS system, etc. In future, the standard model will include a system of extreme reaction to emergencies, which will inform rescue services of the accident.
Nexia R3 model will have new transmission and improved security system, which will include airbags, safety belt, ISOFIX, ABS, etc. This model will also be equipped with extreme reaction system at accidents. (UzDaily/Business World Magazine)
