Ukraine is ready to increase the exports of agricultural products to the Malaysian market, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Kutovyi declared.
In the first half year, Ukraine exported agricultural products to Malaysia valued at $52.4 million, but the potential for cooperation will increase. Ukrainian agrarians are able to meet the demand of Malaysia in many positions, said the Minister.
To date, Malaysia imports dairy products, sunflower and soybean oils, cakes, wheat and wheat flour from Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the foreign trade turnover of agricultural products between two countries totaled $81.9 million. In particular, exports from Ukraine totaled $52.4 million, while imports stood at $29.6 million. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
