According to the regional agricultural departments, as of August 4, Kazakh agrarians harvested grains throughout 587.7 thousand ha, or 36.9% of the planned areas, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan declared.
As of the reporting date, agrarians produced 1.29 million tons of grains, up by 245 thousand tons YoY. The average yield totaled 2.21 t/ha (up by 0.48 t/ha).
In particular, in Almaty oblast agrarians harvested grains throughout 166.1 thousand ha, West Kazakhstan oblast – 37.4 thousand ha, Jambyl oblast – 198.6 thousand ha, Kyzylorda oblast – 5.4 thousand ha, and South Kazakhstan oblast – 180 thousand ha. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
