As of July 26, agrarians harvested 24.78 million tons of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 6.71 million ha, or 69% of the plan (9.6 million ha, according to estimations). The average yield totaled 3.69 t/ha. At the same time, on the same date in 2015 agrarians harvested 23.65 million tons of grains throughout 7.03 million ha, with the yield of 3.36 t/ha, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported.
In particular, Ukraine harvested wheat throughout 4.19 million ha (68%). The production volumes totaled 16.6 million tons, with the yield of 3.96 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 7.386 million tons of barley throughout 2.25 million ha (78%), with the yield of 3.28 t/ha.
According to the announcement, Ukraine harvested 83 thousand tons of rye throughout 35 thousand ha (24%). The average yield totaled 2.39 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested oats throughout 17 thousand ha (8%). The production volumes totaled 40 thousand tons, with the yield of 2.33 t/ha.
Also, peas production volumes reached 674 thousand tons, with the yield of 3.17 t/ha. The harvested areas totaled 213 thousand ha (89%).
As for winter rapeseed, agrarians harvested 962 thousand tons of the oilseed throughout 368 thousand ha (81%), with the average yield of 2.61 t/ha. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
