Russia resumes activity of the joint intergovernmental Russian-Turkish commission on trade and economic cooperation. The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev signed the corresponding decree of the Government #706 dated July 22, the Ministry of Economic Development reported.
The document provides for resumption of the negotiation process between Russia and Turkey on the draft intergovernmental agreement about trading with services and investments, the draft medium-term program of trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation between the governments of two countries for the period of 2016-2019, establishing of a joint Russian-Turkish fund for financing of investment projects in Russia and Turkey, etc.
The commission stopped its work in November 2015 after worsening of relations between Russia and Turkey. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
