Turkmenistan’s Turkmenoil state concern produced over 2.461 million tons of oil in H1 2016, said the message from the company.
The plan for delivering crude oil to the main consumers has been fulfilled successfully, according to the message.
Additionally, Turkmenoil divisions have produced over 3.312 billion cubic meters of gas from the subsoil.
Around 166,000 meters of wells have been drilled during the reporting period and 123,876 meters of them are production wells, while 42,000 meters are exploration wells.
Turkmenoil brings together tens of companies engaged in both primary and secondary cycle of production of oil, natural and associated gas, gas condensate, drilling of exploration and production wells, oil and gas transportation via pipelines as so on.
The volume of oil and gas production through Turkmenoil is increased as a result of intensifying the drilling of wells at Goturdepe, Barsagelmes, Nebitdag, South Gamyshlydzha, Korpeje, Akpatlavuk, Keimir, East Cheleken fields, as well as Chekishler and Yilakli fields which have been recently put into operation and newly discovered Altyguyi and Mydar fields.
