The Taganrog Krasnyi Kotelshchik Boilermaker, which is an integral part of Power Machines Company, manufactured and shipped a chamber-type high-pressure heater (PVD-K) for Belarus NPP being constructed.
Large-size equipment weighing 138 tons will be installed at the first power unit of this plant. Seven similar heaters for this NPP are at the stage of manufacturing. Delivery completion is planned for March, 2017.
Distinctive feature of the PVD-K for Belarus NPP is significant dimensions and thickness of structural components. Heat transfer surface is manufactured of corrosion-proof macaroni pipes, which will ensure a long-term and reliable operation of tubing system without overhauls. Equipment will be installed in the turbine department for regenerative steam feed-water heating which will considerably increase the unit economical operation. (Power-m/Business World Magazine)
