Starting from July 19, for the first time in the history, the Uzbek Commodity Exchange started exchange transactions on the sale of polypropylene. Seller of new products on the stock exchange is UZ-KOR Gas Chemical. Currently, 7 contracts with 1 ton-lots each are open for selling of various grades of polypropylene in the stock market. Terms of delivery are referring to EXW Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex. The daily volume of lots put up for auction under these contracts is 300 tons, the press service of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange said.
According to the first results of trading on the stock exchange 149 tons of polypropylene of Y130, FR-170H and FR160 grades were sold. The companies from the city of Tashkent, Samarkand and Khorezm regions became the customers of products.
According to traders and market experts, the emergence of new products on the stock exchange will facilitate the development of competition in the market.
In addition, UZ-KOR Gas Chemical opened 5 new contracts for the realization of the polyethylene of BL6200, FL7000, J2200, MF5000 and BL5200 grades.
