The issue of privatization of United Grain Company in 2016 is not active, the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev declared.
According to him, it is a strategic state-owned company with a controlling block of shares by the government, so to date the issue is not under consideration, and it is untimely.
Tkachev noted that if the issue was considered in future, the privatization should be realized under terms and conditions of a tender.
To date the Russian Federation owns 50% plus 1 share of United Grain Company, and Summa Group is the other shareholder. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
