Xinjiang Silu Changlong Investment Co., Ltd (China) is planning to create a food transport-logistic center in Bukhara region of Uzbekistan.
Currently, the Chinese company is developing the project in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan.
Within the project, it is planned to create a modern logistics center, two plants for processing of fruits and vegetables, meat and dairy products, the company for the production of cardboard and plastic boxes and crates.
The project also envisages organization of modern greenhouses and extensive gardens, as well as purchase of refrigerated MAN trucks.
Chinese company’s head Tian Nan Jean said total volume of foreign investment would make up $28.7 million. The project will be realized with the foreign direct investments and loan of Chinese Eximbank.
All the fruit and vegetables produced will be exported. (UzDaily/Business World Magazine)
