Uralkali, one of the world’s largest potassium producers, has announced its production results for Q2 and H1 2016. Uralkali produced 2.5 million tons of potassium chloride (KCI) in April-June and 5.1 million tons of KCl in January-June.
The company’s assets consist of 5 mines and 7 ore-treatment mills situated in the towns of Berezniki and Solikamsk (Perm territory). Uralkali employs ca. 11 thousand people (in the main production unit). (Uralkali/Business World Magazine)
