In May 2016 flour production in Russia increased by 2% YoY, to 770.2 KMT. Since the beginning of the year flour production reached 3.88 MMT, up by 1% YoY.
However, bread and pasta production decreased in Russia. During the reporting period both bread and pasta production declined by 2% to 2.75 KMT and 467 KMT, respectively. In the current season Russia has increased flour exports significantly. Since the beginning of 2015/2016 MY flour shipments from Russia reached 236 KMT, up by 67% YoY.
