Ukraine: budget deficit up in 2018

Ukraine’s national budget in 2018 saw a deficit of UAH 59.248 billion, or $1.865 billion, up by 23.7% YoY (UAH 47.882 billion, or $1.507 billion). The country’s consolidated budget over the period under review saw a deficit of UAH 68 billion ($2.14 billion), up 1.6-fold, according to Ukraine’s Treasury Service. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
