On October 11, National Mercantile Exchange CJSC (NAMEX) held the regular stock exchange trading within frames of public grain purchasing interventions in the regional trading platforms of Russia, and purchased 44.415 thousand tons of grains (from the proposed volume of 49.95 thousand tons) valued at 407.325 million rubles.
In particular, the fund purchased 6.75 thousand tons of 3-grade wheat (whole proposed volume), 24.3 thousand tons of 4-grade wheat (whole proposed volume), 7.965 thousand tons of 5-grade wheat (from the proposed volume of 13.5 thousand tons), and 5.4 thousand tons of 1-group barley (whole proposed volume).
The weighted average prices of the grains sold to the intervention fund were as follows: 3-grade wheat – 10`530.6 RUR/ton; 4-grade wheat – 9`812.8 RUR/ton; 5-grade wheat – 8`366.4 RUR/ton; 1-group barley – 7`811.2 RUR/ton.
Since the beginning of the purchasing auction (September 19), the intervention fund at NAMEX exchange site has already purchased 371.115 thousand tons of grains valued at 3.63 billion rubles. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
