According to data published by Armenia’s Statistical Committee, the number of tourists visiting Armenia in the first half of 2026 increased by 14.8%, to 1,041,598.
In the first six months of 2025, 907,135 tourists visited Armenia. Thus, the number of tourists increased by 134,463 over one year.
The total number of overnight stays by tourists reached 31,344,263, while the average duration of a visit was 30 days. A year earlier, the average duration of a visit to Armenia during the same period was 31 days.
Among tourists arriving in Armenia, 597,668 were men and 443,930 were women. The largest age group was people aged 36-63, numbering 544,984.
Meanwhile, the number of tourists departing Armenia decreased by 8.3%, from 748,331 to 686,277. The average duration of their trips abroad increased from 36 to 39 days. (Pan)
