148.7 billion UAH of taxes, fees and other mandatory payments were paid by state-owned enterprises to the Consolidated Budget of Ukraine in the first half of 2026. This is 5.2 billion UAH, or 3.6% more than in the same period last year.
The main sources of growth were:
– Rent for the use of subsoil – revenues increased by 5.1 billion UAH (+41.9%);
– Tax and levy on income of individuals – by 2.6 billion UAH (+10.2%);
– Part of the net profit (income) of state unitary enterprises, their associations and dividends (income) accrued on shares (shares) of business companies, the authorized capital of which includes state property – by UAH 1.8 billion (+10.2%).
The largest increase in revenues was provided by enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine and the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
The best dynamics were demonstrated by state enterprises in three sectors of the economy.
Supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning – payment increased by UAH 13.9 billion (+41.0%), including:
– Part of net profit and dividends on the state share – + UAH 7.2 billion (or +320.2%);
– Income tax – + UAH 3.5 billion (+52.4%);
– VAT – + UAH 1.2 billion (+9.8%).
Agriculture, forestry and fisheries increased revenues by UAH 3.9 billion (+69.0%), including:
– Part of net profit and dividends to the state share – by UAH 2.2 billion (+153.9%);
– VAT – by UAH 0.7 billion (+34.8%);
– Income tax – by UAH 0.5 billion (+88.0%).
Information and telecommunications provided an additional UAH 0.8 billion (+67.8%), including:
– Part of net profit and dividends to the state share – UAH 0.4 billion (+180.7%);
– Tax and levy on personal income – UAH 0.2 billion (+27.3%);
– VAT – UAH 0.1 billion (+44.2%).
The indicators of the first half of the year confirm that state-owned enterprises remain an important pillar of the country’s economy. They ensure the operation of strategic industries, support economic stability, and generate a significant part of state budget revenues. (State Tax Service)
