According to the results of the first half of the year, the processing industry became the leader in the amount of taxes paid. This is 17.6% of the total amount of payments to the consolidated budget – almost every 5 hryvnia. This was reported on her Facebook page by the Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Lesya Karnaukh.
“The country’s stability is measured not only by our ability to resist the enemy. It is also measured by whether the economy is working. Especially in conditions when the Russians are constantly attacking energy infrastructure, production and enterprises. Ukrainian business is becoming more and more difficult. But our business is invincible, despite extremely difficult conditions, it overcomes challenges, preserves jobs and pays taxes,” added Lesya Karnaukh.
A significant share was also formed by:
– Wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – 15.9%;
– Public administration and defense, compulsory social insurance – 12.0%;
– Financial and insurance activities – 11.5%.
These industries also demonstrated the largest increase in payments to the budget compared to the first half of 2025.
The leaders are again the processing industry, which increased payments by UAH 33.5 billion (+19.1%).
Enterprises in the sphere of public administration and defense paid more by UAH 21.3 billion (+17.5%), wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles – by UAH 18.6 billion (+10.9%), and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning – by UAH 18.3 billion (+28.5%).
