In June, in accordance with the budget legislation, the Ministry of Finance ensured the transfer of inter-budgetary transfers to the general fund of local budgets in the amount of UAH 38.5 billion (UAH 9.3 billion more than in May), which was 100% of the funds provided for from the state budget for June.
In particular:
– The basic subsidy was transferred in the amount of UAH 2.6 billion (100%);
– Additional subsidies were transferred in the amount of UAH 1.9 billion (100%).
The balances of funds in the accounts of local budgets and budgetary institutions under general and special funds as of July 1, amounted to UAH 131.4 billion, UAH 36.2 billion more than at the beginning of 2026.
With these resources, local governments will continue to have the opportunity to provide financing for priority needs at the local level. (Finance Ministry)
