In January-May, local budgets received almost 231.3 billion UAH in taxes and fees, 15.1% more than in the same period last year. This was reported by the Acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh.
“Local budgets are not dry numbers. These are changes that we feel and see in communities every day. These are restored houses, repaired roads, quality education and medicine. The largest source of revenue is personal income tax. In five months, 134.2 billion UAH were paid (+19.6% compared to last year),” she noted.
Among the main budget-forming payments are also:
– Single tax – 39.1 billion UAH (+10.3%);
– Property tax – 25.4 billion UAH (+13.7%);
– Corporate profit tax – 17.9 billion UAH (+1.3%);
– Tourist fee – 161.8 million UAH (+22.6%);
– Parking fee – 97 million UAH (+11%).
“Strong communities include paid taxes. And we are grateful to responsible business and citizens who fulfill their duties in wartime. In turn, the tax service consistently develops modern formats of communication and support for taxpayers. The State Tax Service is expanding the network of Tax Consultant Offices, providing information support to grant recipients, helping entrepreneurs adapt to changes in legislation and actively implementing new digital services,” said Lesya Karnaukh.
