The Finnish airline Finnair is planning to resume flights between Vilnius and Helsinki on March 1 after they were suspended last December following airspace disruptions by smuggler balloons from Belarus.
“From March 1, Finnair will resume its evening flight between Helsinki and Vilnius, which was temporarily suspended when the hybrid attack took place. Tickets are already on sale,” Transport Minister Juras Taminskas told reporters on February 18.
“This shows that airlines trust our airports, trust Lithuania, and that we can ensure safe civil aviation,” he added. (LRT)
