The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to include two new industrial parks – Fursy (Kyiv region) and Misto Diy (Lviv region) – in the Registry of Industrial (Manufacturing) Parks. The implementation of these projects will create a total of over 1,000 new jobs in the manufacturing sector.
The Fursy industrial park is located in the Fursivska rural community of the Bila Tserkva district in Kyiv region. The project covers an area of 11.0215 hectares, and it is planned to create approximately 500 new jobs in this territory. To develop the park, the initiator, Industrial Park Fursy LLC, plans to attract almost UAH 992 million in investments. Funding will come from the initiator’s own funds, state incentives, and private investments from future participants.
The Misto Diy Industrial Park was created in the city of Drohobych, Lviv region. The park, with an area of 21.61 hectares, will provide jobs for about 550 specialists. The total amount of capital investments in the park’s development is estimated at UAH 188.7 million. The project initiator plans to allocate more than UAH 130.8 million of its own funds during 2025-2028. An additional source of development will be the funds of participants (approximately UAH 5.33 million), accumulated thanks to tax incentives (income tax exemption).
The following priority areas will be developed on the territory of new parks:
– Fursy: manufacture of metal products, electrical equipment, and machinery; food industry; scientific and technical activities, IT, and telecommunications;
– Misto Diy: manufacture of construction materials, woodworking, beverage and paper production, electronics, mechanical engineering, food industry, and alternative energy.
“The development of a network of industrial parks is an important component of the Made in Ukraine policy. The inclusion of the Fursy and Misto Diy parks in the Register is a clear signal to investors about the state’s support for the processing industry. The creation of new production capacities in the Kyiv and Lviv regions shall not only stimulate regional development and fill local budgets, but also contribute to the introduction of new technologies and the creation of quality jobs for our citizens,” said Vitalii Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.
State support for industrial parks is aimed at increasing the share of the processing industry in GDP and enhancing the investment attractiveness of Ukrainian communities. (Government portal)
