Already this year, 650 Ukrainians have won the first two waves of the programme and will receive grants to start or develop their businesses worth UAH 153 million. The Government’s support will help entrepreneurs start their own business, scale up existing businesses, increase production and launch new lines, and enter new markets. In total, 23,700 Ukrainians have received business development grants worth UAH 5.7 billion since the programme was launched. The grantees have already returned UAH 5.6 billion through taxes and fees paid to the budget. They will also create 44,000 new jobs in various industries,” said Tetyana Berezhna. (Government portal)
