“On June 28, regional power distribution companies applied planned schedules of restrictions throughout the day. Due to the heat, consumption in the afternoon and evening was 2.5% higher than at the same time on June 27,” the NPC Ukrenergo said on Facebook.
Since June 27, emergency assistance from the power systems of Poland, Slovakia and Romania has been used to partially cover the deficit. Ukrenergo explained that this allowed avoiding an increase in consumption restrictions for consumers. (Ukrinform)
