Poland’s retail sales increased in real terms by 19% YoY, but fell by 0.1% MoM in April, the Central Statistical Office said on May 23.
Economists polled by PAP expected April’s retail sales to grow in real terms by 17.8% YoY and drop by 0.5% MoM.
In current prices, retail sales increased by 33.4% YoY in April against a 29.5% expected rise. (The First News/Business World Magazine)
