The Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) ruled that the Finance Ministry would supplement the volume of the government’s intervention fund for 2022 with a sum of 25 million lei at the expense humanitarian donations accumulated in the treasury account opened to support the Ukrainian nation. As much as 21.3 million lei of this money will be allocated to the local public authorities of the second level for the management of the crisis of refugees from Ukraine, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
At the same time, CSE decided also the making of the payment by the Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry of subsidies worth 225 million lei to the ENERGOCOM stock company. The sum will be meant for the compensations for the difference of tariff for electric energy for March.
The participants in the meeting also took decision to admit all children from the families of refugees from Ukraine, with status of asylum seekers, in general education institutions from Moldova. To this end, the Education and Research Ministry will approve also a mechanism of involvement of children from families of refugees. The children will be able to attend the education institution as unattached students, without obligation of schooling, with recording in a provisional register.
To join efforts as to the implementation of the UN Operational Plan for Refugees and provide services of assistance to the refugees with the involvement of staff, the provisions of the bailment agreement, signed between the Moldexpo stock company and the Holy Trinity Municipal Clinical Hospital, are ceased. The management of the assets provided for in the bailment agreement will be ensured by the Moldexpo stock company and the institutions concerned will ensure the transmission to the Moldexpo stock company of the real estate and moveable assets taken over in the management of the Holy Trinity Municipal Clinical Hospital, according to the delivery-reception acts.
