An airport has begun to work in the enclave of Sokh in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan reports.
In accordance with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, regular flights between Ferghana and Sokh will be launched.
At the initial stage, Humo Air will begin operating regular flights on the route twice a week from December 12.
Flights from Fergana are planned on Mondays and Fridays at 10 a. m. and from Sokh to Fergana – at noon. The flights are operated by AN-2 airplanes. The flight time is 30 minutes. Passengers can buy air tickets at the airports of Ferghana, Andijan and Namangan, as well as in the buildings of Sokh district khokimiyat (district administration). (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
