The 2021 autumn production at “Starokostiantynivcukor” LLC was productive.
“We processed 308 thousand tons of beets, the average processing productivity this year was 4200 tons per day. The work was almost without failures and long stops. The main emphasis, as always, was placed on reducing production costs, important experience and a constructive approach to process management of Technical Director Mykhailo Spivak largely guaranteed a successful outcome. The whole team of Starokostiantyniv Sugar Refinery worked as a single mechanism to achieve the best result,” commented Volodymyr Shostak, the Director of “Starokostiantynivcukor” LLC.
The first impressions, according to the results of the work, allow saying that those investment projects and measures that were identified as priorities in 2021, according to sugar producers, have brought a positive result in the development of the enterprise.
“Implementation of plans and developments is ahead of us, which must be implemented by joint efforts. Internal developments are the result of the team’s work, received as a result of the analysis of work this season. Therefore, measures have been developed to improve the operation of the refinery. In addition, investment projects have been identified, economically justified steps to be taken in 2022. Such steps will be the modernization of the evaporator station and the complete reconstruction of the gas furnace,” comments Volodymyr Shostak. “Along with these major projects, we plan to install another vacuum filter, create a transport and logistics center of A’SPIK Group on the basis of the old raw material laboratory”.
