In January-April, local budgets of Ivano-Frankivsk region received UAH 3.8 million in revenues from tourist tax, which was almost 70% of the figure recorded in the entire 2020, according to the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.
“The winter season in Polianytsia territorial community was surprisingly successful,” Vitaliy Perederko, the head of the tourism department at the regional administration, wrote on his Facebook page.
According to him, the largest revenues from tourist tax were recorded in Polianytsia territorial community – UAH 2.784 million, Ivano-Frankivsk territorial community – UAH 411,680, Yaremche territorial community – UAH 217,880, Vorokhta territorial community – 149,030 and Vyhoda territorial community – UAH 57,280.
