In January-July Belarus’ export of goods and services went up by 18.8% YoY, to reach $23.7 billion, according to the statistical data published on the website of the National Bank.
The foreign trade in goods and services made up $47.1 billion, up by 20.1%. The export totaled $23.7 billion, and the import exceeded $23.3 billion (up by 21.3%). Belarus’ foreign trade surplus made up $403.3 million.
The foreign trade in goods soared by 20.9%, to $39.3 billion. The export of goods went up by 19.3%, to $18.8 billion, and the import increased by 22.3%, to $20.4 billion. The trade deficit made up $1.6 billion (in January-July 2017 the trade deficit totaled $929.7 million).
The foreign trade in services reached $7.79 billion (up by 16.1%). The export of services totaled $4.9 billion (up by 16.8%), and the import – $2.89 billion (up by 15.1%). The trade surplus was at the level of $2 billion (up by 19.4%). (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
