The debureaucratization measures for the business environment, adopted by the authorities at the end of last year will generate estimated annual savings of about 265 million lei, with visible effects starting in 2026. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Eugeniu Osmochescu made the statement.
The official pointed out that the deregulation package adopted in December 2025 targeted 12 sectors and more than 200 economic activities, eliminating or revising over one hundred authorizations. The estimated impact for the business environment is annual savings of about 265-267 million lei, with visible effects starting in 2026.
“Due to the blockages that existed previously, because permits were not issued in a timely manner, an entrepreneur could have the business blocked and incur losses. The impact on the business environment from the initiative that was approved in December 2025 and taking effect from January 1 concerned savings of 264 million lei annually for the private sector, money that could be reinvested,” stated Osmochescu.
