In Poltava region, systematic support for residents who find themselves in difficult life circumstances continues. In July, more than 2 million UAH will be allocated from the regional budget to provide material assistance. The decision was made by the relevant commission.
“Supporting residents of the region who are in difficult financial circumstances is a manifestation of the authorities’ responsibility and a step towards ensuring decent living conditions for everyone. Such assistance is an important component of social protection,” said Anton Chubenko, deputy head of the Poltava Regional Social Protection Department.
496 people will receive financial assistance.
In particular:
– More than 860 thousand UAH will be directed to people who need long-term and expensive treatment, as well as to those who find themselves in difficult life situations;
– 830 thousand UAH will be received by cancer patients of the region and internally displaced persons;
– 225 thousand UAH will be provided to 20 children with cancer;
– 150 thousand UAH – to the families of civilians killed as a result of air strikes during martial law;
– 20 thousand UAH – to those injured as a result of shelling;
– 215 thousand UAH – to residents whose houses were damaged during enemy attacks.
Also, financial support would be provided to 4 women who celebrated their 100th anniversary and 4 families in which twins were born. (Poltava Regional Military Administration)
