Since the resumption of registry operations in 2025, 2,334 Ukrainians have taken advantage of the affordable mortgage programme eOselia, securing loans totalling UAH 4.3 billion. This was announced by Andrii Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy.
“The eOselia programme offers flexible and attractive conditions for obtaining a loan to purchase a home. Since its launch, 17,174 Ukrainian families have acquired their own housing. The total amount of loans issued over the entire period exceeds UAH 28.3 billion,” the Deputy Minister noted.
Andrii Teliupa highlighted that a preferential 3% interest rate was available to categories such as military personnel and law enforcement officers, healthcare workers, educators, researchers, and their families. For other citizens without housing, as well as combatants, veterans, and internally displaced persons, the mortgage rate is 7%.
Over the past week, 110 loans worth UAH 195 million were issued, including 3% rate loans to: 26 military personnel and law enforcement officers, 6 healthcare workers, 2 educators and 4 scientists.
Loans at the 7% rate were granted to: 54 Ukrainians without their own housing, 14 internally displaced persons and 4 veterans.
The highest number of loans was issued in Kyiv region (36) and the city of Kyiv (30). By type of property, 70 Ukrainians received loans for newly built housing, including 11 for properties under construction, while 40 loans were for properties on the secondary market. (Government portal)
