The National Bank expects that Ukraine will receive $25 billion in external financing next year, which should be enough to cover the budget’s expenses, Deputy NBU Governor Serhii Nikolaychuk has said.
“Today, our base scenario predicts that next year we will receive $25 billion in external financing. Taking into account the potential of the domestic market, this will be enough to cover out budget needs,” Nikolaychuk said.
He added that this scenario drawn by the regulator was also based on the assumption that the government’s ability to cover the expenditures with its own resources would also gradually increase. (Ukrinform)
