The first Catalogue of Ukrainian machinery manufacturers for communities was presented in Kyiv with the participation of Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine. The catalogue is intended to provide customers with information about Ukrainian manufacturers of machinery for communities and to help increase demand for goods produced in Ukraine. It contains information on 255 units of equipment manufactured by 32 companies from 14 regions of Ukraine.
In her speech during the presentation of the catalogue, Yuliia Svyrydenko stressed that the government would do its utmost to inform communities about the capabilities of Ukrainian producers. According to her, today domestic machine-building enterprises are able to meet the needs of communities in a wide variety of equipment.
“I urge communities to join the “Made in Ukraine” policy and buy products of the Ukrainian processing industry. This will not only help meet the legal requirement of localisation, but also contribute to the development of Ukraine’s economy. After all, machine building has one of the largest multiplier effects on the economy in terms of jobs and taxes to the budget. Up to 40% of the funds spent by the state on Ukrainian goods are returned to Ukrainians in the form of salaries, taxes and fees,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko.
The first catalogue presents public passenger transport (buses, trolleybuses, electric buses and trams), municipal machinery (sweepers, garbage trucks, watering and road machines, dump trucks, low roaders, earthmoving machines), special machinery (tankers trailers and semi-trailers, fire and rescue equipment, lifting equipment, ambulances, vans and trucks), as well as attachments (buckets, road brushes, snow ploughs, pallet forks, mowers, wood chippers, pruners and uprooters). As emphasised during the presentation, the catalogue will be expanded in the future. (Government portal)
