Poland’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) stood at 6.2% YoY in December 2023 against the 6.1% predicted in a previous flash estimate, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on January 15.
The CPI inflation in November 2023 was 6.6%.
Consumer prices in December 2023 increased by 6.2% (with an increase of prices of services by 8.2% and of goods by 5.5%), GUS said.
Consumer prices rose by 0.1% MoM (of which services increased by 0.8% and prices of goods declined by 0.2%).
In 2023, consumer prices increased by 11.4% compared to 2022. (PAP/Business World Magazine)
