15 companies will access non-refundable financing worth between 200,000 lei and 600,000 lei (30,000 euros), in order to invest in the development, ecologization, digitalization and internationalization of businesses.
The managers of the beneficiary companies participated in an information session, in order to be familiarized with the contractual provisions. Subsequently, the economic agents will sign the contracts on cooperation for accessing the non-refundable support through programmes for which they submitted investment projects.
According to the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), five out of all new beneficiaries work in the rural environment and 10 work in the urban one. Eight out these businesses are managed by young people and seven – by women.
The overall sum of financing is about 4 million lei – resources provided from the state budget or allocated by the European Union and the World Bank.
The grants are provided through ODA’s entrepreneurial support instruments: Start for Youth Programme, Programme on Attraction of Remittances to Economy PARE 1+2, Programme on Digital Transformation of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Programme on Ecologization of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises.
