Funding for support programmes for war veterans will be doubled in 2024. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Government meeting on November 10.
“We earmark UAH 14 billion to provide our veterans with the necessary services and support. We are building a new veterans’ policy. We will fully launch the Veteran’s Assistant project, for which we budget almost UAH 4 billion. Rehabilitation and psychological services – UAH 2.6 billion. We envisage UAH 6 billion to provide veterans with housing,” said Denys Shmyhal.
According to the Prime Minister, veterans will continue to receive preferential mortgages under the eOselia programme. Under the eRobota programme, non-refundable grants will remain available for veteran businesses. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
