Starting from July 20, the net profit of the companies must be paid to associates exclusively by bank transfer. The Commission for Emergency Situations took the decision to make the financial resources distributed to individuals transparent and reduce the amount of cash used for tax evasion and financing of illegal activities.
It was decided to fill out the CSE Instruction No. 45 dated October 31, 2022 with new provisions. Accordingly, the minimum ceiling of 10 thousand lei per month was introduced for the prohibition of carrying out cash transactions by persons who were on the sanctions lists and persons affiliated with them. List of sanctions applicable to reporting entities in case of violation of the sanctions regime was updated. Thus, in the detected cases, the sanctions provided by the corresponding sectoral legislation would be applied.
CSE members approved the suspension of the temporary refugee management center in Calarasovca, Ocnita district, where 2162 people were accommodated during the last year. It was also agreed to allocate 2639.8 thousand lei for the 53 refugee centers that were currently operating. According to Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu, it was decided to suspend the activity of refugee management centers, which would have a number of beneficiaries less than 20% of their capacity, during 20 calendar days.
