Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko met with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Wlachovsky and Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London. The key topic of the meetings was assistance to the Ukrainian energy sector from foreign partners.
German Galushchenko thanked the friendly countries for their support, in particular in the form of materials needed to carry out repair and restoration work on infrastructure facilities that were damaged or destroyed as a result of russian attacks.
Ukraine has already received 2 shipments of humanitarian aid from Slovakia totalling over 9 tons, including batteries, power generators, emergency power units and other necessary equipment.
Azerbaijan handed over 10 humanitarian aid shipments totalling more than 118 tons of equipment, including power transformers and emergency power units.
The parties stressed the need to deepen cooperation in the energy sector in order to strengthen the resilience of the countries’ energy systems and regional energy security in general. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
