At a Government meeting on June 2, it was decided to add another industrial park, Western Industrial, to the Register of Industrial Parks. This brings the total number of industrial sites on the register to 64.
The 21.7-hectare Western Industrial park is located in Bushtyno, Tyachiv district, Zakarpattia region.
“The operation of industrial parks stimulates the development of Ukrainian industry, provides jobs for the population and fills local budgets. The new industrial park will create 1,100 jobs in the processing industry. The development of processing increases the added value of products and diversifies Ukrainian exports,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
Thus, new jobs will be created in furniture production, sawmilling and planing, wood products, metal structures and products, glass and glass products, clay building materials, etc. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
