Georgian external trade turnover amounted to $6.49 billion in January-April, up by 21.9% YoY, the Georgian National Statistics Office revealed on May 15.
The value of exports rose by 23.5% and equalled $1.96 billion, while imports grew by 21.2%, amounting to $4.53 billion in the first four months of 2023.
Trade deficit reached $2.57 billion, and the share of trade turnover hit 39.6%. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
