The National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) accumulated in the first four months of this year revenues of about 2 billion 449 million lei (over 123 million euros) in the mandatory health insurance funds (AOAM) without transfers from the state budget.
According to CNAM, the accumulations grew by about 443 million lei or by 22% YoY. The main source of income was represented by percentage contributions from salary and other rewards. These constituted about 2 billion 205 million lei, 345 million more compared to the first four months of 2022.
At the same time, the expenses from the AOAM funds amounted to around 4 billion 167 million lei in January-April, up by 289 million lei. The largest part, 4 billion 138 million lei, was transferred to medical and pharmaceutical service providers. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
