Poland’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 2% YoY in the fourth quarter of 2022, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on February 28, adding that this was in line with its earlier flash estimate.
Poland’s economy expanded by 3.6% YoY in the third quarter of 2022, after a 5.8% growth in the second quarter of 2022.
According to GUS, investments rose by 4.9% in the fourth quarter of 2022, private consumption fell by 1.5%, while domestic demand increased by 1.1%.
Economists polled by PAP expected investments would go up by 5.2% in Q4 2022, private consumption would go down by 1.5% and domestic demand would increase by 1.3%. (PAP/Business World Magazine)
