Georgian wine producers are showcased in the international wine fair VinExpo Paris in the French capital, the National Wine Agency reports.
Over 3,000 manufacturers from 52 countries and thousands of visitors from around the world are hosted at the event where producers are presenting their products.
The agency said the Georgian companies’ participation in the event would increase the international awareness of wine from the country and give the entrepreneurs an opportunity to find new trade partners worldwide.
Within the fair wine producers also have an opportunity to present their products at special tasting spaces.
Georgian winemakers are also set to bring their products to markets in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, China, South Korea, Japan and the Baltic States this year, under the GEL 14-million ($5.2 million) budget of the state programme for wine promotion.
