Poland’s average corporate gross monthly wage rose by 14.5% YoY, to PLN 6,687.81 (EUR 1,396) in September, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on October 20.
In monthly terms, the average wage went up by 1.6%.
Economists polled by PAP expected a 13.1% annual increase in the corporate wage in September and no change from August.
September’s corporate employment increased by 2.3% YoY, but fell by 0.1% MoM.
Economists surveyed by PAP expected September’s corporate employment to rise by 2.4% YoY and decline by 0.1% MoM. (The First News/Business World Magazine)
