Romania will allocate $1.4 million to NATO funds dedicated to strengthening the resilience of defence capabilities of Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and Jordan, the Romanian foreign office has said.
The Romanian foreign office specified that $300,000 from the amount would be allocated to specifically improving the defence capacity of Georgia.
The decision corresponds to Romania’s foreign policy and security priorities, as well as to the fulfillment of the objectives of strengthening security and stability in the proximity of the “Eastern Flank”, especially in the Black Sea region, the ministry said. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
